Lyrics for "Balloon" by Mark Ballas

"Balloon" by Mark Ballas

Currently unreleased, 2010

Remember the quiet of the open,
While the flame kept burning,
You were learning, to be an open book with out a cover,
And with the same old story,
You reassure me

That I don't wanna turn my back on u.
Don't wanna see u come unglued.
Not gonna keep my heart too far away from you,
Tho I'm far away from you tonight,
I been thinkin about everythin we'd do.
Flyin away in this air balloon,
Maybe you'll fall back down,
And learn to love again,
Break the waves and let me in your balloon

Flyin high above the open,
And we keep on rising, realizing,
This wicker cradle big enough for two.
And while we're airborne, soaring,
I keep adoring you...

That I don't wanna turn my back on u.
Don't wanna see u come unglued.
Not gonna keep my heart too far away from you,
Tho I'm far away from you tonight,
I been thinkin about everythin we'd do.
Flyin away in this air balloon,
Maybe you'll fall back down,
And learn to love again,
Break the waves and let me in your balloon

Flyin your balloon,
I don't wanna move,
I'm flyin were flying
And I can barley move at all

That I don't wanna turn my back on u.
Don't wanna see u come unglued.
Not gonna keep my heart too far away from you,
Tho I'm far away from you tonight,
I been thinkin about everythin we'd do.
Flyin away in this air balloon,
Maybe you'll fall back down,
And learn to love again,
Break the waves and let me in your balloon

Mark in Jesus Christ Superstar

Thanks to @purederekhough for giving me the heads up on some 'new' photos of Mark and Derek in Jesus Christ Superstar. :) I can't post the pics, but check out the slideshow over at SUN.

Mark and Derek starred in Jesus Christ Superstar in 2004 at the Millfield Arts Centre (on Twitter & on Facebook) in Edmonton, London, UK. Derek played Jesus and Mark played Judas.

Mark posted a bunch of pictures on MarkBallas.com a few years ago:

Mark Ballas back in the studio :)

Mark is back in the studio recording vocals for "The Love In" (...so the name has changed again) and ukulele on Hot Wire. :)

Recording Hot Wire...apparently the ukulele is proving difficult to record. hmm.

Mark performing with Ashley Krouse

Mark played a song or two with Ashley Krouse on Saturday, August 7, 2010.

I think it was in Anaheim, CA...but I'm not sure what the event was.  I think it might have been part of the Shaklee Conference. Ashley is a part of that and it happened August 4-8, 2010.  And since Mark was performing with Ashley, (bdwayb3 was Ashley's old twitter name...she just changed it), and Ashley was in Anaheim...  lol you see my deduction skills... haha.

Mark tweeted that he played guitar on "Some Kind of Wonderful".  He posted two pics:

Lyrics for "The Love In" by Mark Ballas

"The Love In" by Mark Ballas
Unreleased, 2010

Hoping for a little piece of heaven
Hope will get you nowhere when you're clutchin' your weapon
The pain becomes the present
and the heart becomes a habit
while the love is right here waiting
so reach out and grab it

and I know it's hard when you've been broken
to finally let it go
and open your mind
but the good, it ain't ever gonna happen
if you keep on tryin' to put up a fight

so I hope you're ready to learn
we could find a new way to burn
you know we gotta keep on livin'
you know we gotta keep believin'
but now you gotta let
you know you gotta let the love in

losin' direction on a one-way road
gettin' fed up with having nowhere to go
and it seems it's getting harder
to finally find a partner in this game
that we all hate to play

and I know it's hard when you've been broken
to finally let it go
and open your mind
but the good, it ain't ever gonna happen
if you keep on tryin' to put up a fight

But I hope you're ready to learn
we could find a new way to burn
you know we gotta keep on livin'
you know we gotta keep believin'
but now you gotta let,
you know you gotta let the love in

Let the love in
Let the love in
Lettin' the love in
Lettin' the love in

'cause I can't seem to get my head around the fact that you'd be afraid
of somebody steppin' up and treating you the right way
but if we hesitate, it's only gonna complicate
the reasons that we feel like this
we'll never catch a break
the thought of you havin' a heart of stone
walkin' the world alone
you should never deal with all the things you condone
there will come a day when we'll be reprimanded
and nobody wants to face their love life empty-handed
so tell me
what have I gotta do to to get you to cave
and ride the wave
so you can let me in
to wipe up the stain
tappin' at your window pane
you got everything to gain
so get out of your brain
and recognize this is the right way
the right way

Let the love in
Let the love in
we gotta let the love in
Lettin' the love in

you better let the love in

Photoshoot with Dimitry Loiseau

Mark had a photoshoot for his upcoming album last night. The photographer was Dimitry Loiseau the Chief Editor of RegardMag.com and a Celebrity Fashion Photographer. You might remember I retweeted Dimitry talking about how he had spoken with Mark about an upcoming project. :)

Dimitry posted a behind-the-scenes photo of Mark getting his warpaint retouched:

And Mark posted a little teaser of the photoshoot:

Oh and I can't embed it, but Mark posted a video of a little sample of the unmixed guitars for "The Love" (formerly known as "Let Love In"): http://yfrog.com/5e9q6z
