We know Mark will be in Utah because he tweeted that he is heading to Utah tonight to teach his VIBE kids a ChaCha/HipHop Vampire dance. Sounds interesting! :D
And in other news, Mark is in a new relationship. I know I don't normally talk about these things...but he's really in love this time. Apparently, she's quite the sexy thang. So, I just want to send him a congratulations and wish the happy couple all the best! ;) heehee (click the link....)
Getting excited about Mark's appearance on Melissa & Joey? Well, to whet your appetite some more...here is Mark's appearance on Samantha Who?, back in October of 2008. It's the only video I could find and I can't embed it, so go over to YouTube to check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U0k_7-_Ay0c. Sorry about the subtitles. :) Mark's appearance begins at about 1:35 :) "Mateo Romero"...what a name :D

Great promotional video for 2some Dance at the Old Mill Inn Toronto on February 19 & 20, 2011. Mark, Dmitry, Edyta, Alec, and Chelsie are set to perform . :) Thanks to @Jordan_Greys for sending the link!
In Hershey, PA at the Hershey Theatre on July 17, 2010 at 8:00 PM. No filming was allowed, so no videos. :(
More bus troubles...the bus driver apparently got lost driving from NY to Hershey, PA and they were late getting to Hershey. :(
Jonathan Roberts posted a pic of the venue...really beautiful theater:

Sabrina posted a pic of Mark and Kristi Yamaguchi practicing the Mambo:

Video of some rehearsal from @trenyce: http://yfrog.com/jqmxfz I can't embed :( (note: DO NOT get all in a tizzy about Mark getting frustrated at the end. He's an artist, Sabrina is an artist. They work hard at what they do. When you are rehearsing, especially a dress rehearsal, you WILL get frustrated when you mess up and have to start over. It's called passion. It's called nerves. It's called "Dang-it-I-have-done-this-right-a-billion-times-so-why-not-right-now?!" Mark was not disrespecting or hurting Sabrina.)
Anna posted a pic of Sabrina and Kristi during rehearsals...get down, ladies! hehehe:

Anna posted this pic of Mark & Kristi performing the Jive:

And finally, Anna also posted this pic of Sabrina and Mark performing the Cha Cha:

After the show (really? that late?) they went to the Hershey factory (is there a restaurant there? Maybe that's where they had supper...it would explain the late hour). Mark shared this photo:

Well, at least we know that aliens won't be able to read Marky's mind! ;) hehehe
And finally, Mark, Jonathan, and Anna flew back to LA...just in time for Marky to get a tiny amount of sleep (hopefully) before his show at House of Blues! :)
Sabrina, Jonathan, and Kristi are teasing Mark. (uploaded by gymfan66)
according to gymfan66 - "right before I started recording Johnathan asked Sabrina to demonstrate how Mark acted during reahersal when he gets frustarated haha"

Mark flew to NY state on Thursday afternoon (and didn't sleep well that night. Poor guy.) Rehearsals on Friday and the show Friday night. :) Apparently, on the way to the NY show (the 2nd stop on the tour), the tour bus broke down (that was carrying the company dancers). Then, after Friday's show, the 2nd tour bus didn't show up, so the entire cast (25 dancers) had to fit on one bus to drive to PA. Jonathan posted this pic of the crowded bus:

Poor Mark looks so tired! Curled up with his luggage, dozing while sitting up on a loud, crowded bus. ick. :(
One of the company dancers, italoelgueta, tweeted that he was moving from the "party bus" to the "sleeping bus" at about 3am-ish local time (eastern). Well, at least the 2nd bus finally showed up. o.O
After the show, Anna posted a bunch of pics from the show and backstage. Three of the pics included Marky:
Mark posted this video. :) Great dancing! Tanisha is always fun to watch. Mark seems to have taken her under his wing. His favorite student. :D Apparently this took place after a day of auditions, but I don't know what the auditions were for. Perhaps the Cinderella gig?
Mark posted a YouTube version too (same video, just diff format). I'll post it too:

There is no mention that the dancers will rotate, so I'm not sure if Mark will be at all the performances or not. Too bad they are all on the east coast. Us poor mid-westerners get left out of everything! Everyone wants to go to the west coast or the east coast. *sigh* I'd love to go to one of the shows, but I don't have the money for the airfare. Hope some of you can go! :)
Another write-up from TheaterMania lists Mark as a featured dancer, so perhaps he will do all 14 shows. Though...DWTS season 11 might get in the way for a few of those shows.
Mark will be performing in Ballroom with a Twist on July 17, 2010 at the Hershey Theatre in Hershey, Pennsylvania (15 E. Caracas Avenue • PO Box 395 • Hershey, Pennsylvania 17033 • (717) 534-3405).
In addition, Mark's season 5 partner Sabrina and his season 6 partner Kristi will both be appearing. Tickets range from $25.00 - $100.00 per person.
I introduced my mother to YouTube yesterday. I got her a new phone (the Palm Pixi) and it has a YouTube app. I showed her and she immediately said "OMG, I can watch Mark and Shawn dance on my phone??" Seriously, she's a hugeTeam Shark fan. HUGE. :)
Ok, so am I. ;)
Anyhoo, after watching a few Team Shark dances and a few Shawn gymnastics videos, I showed her the videos of Cheryl and Mark dancing for Cheryl's Philippine Disaster Fundraiser and she really enjoyed them. The charity event was back on December 20th, 2009 at the Cheryl Burke Dance Studio in San Francisco. They danced Mark and Shawn's Cha Cha from season 8 and Cheryl and Gilles' Tango from season 8. They learned the dances in only a half hour, if I remember right. :) Cheryl looks gorgeous (love the dresses) and Mark looks handsome (oh, and watch out ladies....bare chest! .... on Mark, not Cheryl. Because that would be a whole different kind of show.....) I've posted the videos previously - if you would like to watch them again (highly recommended) you can see the post here: http://bewitchingballas.blogspot.com/2010/02/dance-for-cause-with-cheryl-burke.html
I'll add this video to the mix....a little behind the scenes video from the charity event. Cheryl and Mark taught a little bit at the fundraiser too. :)
The point of this post? Well, it's because 1) it's so cute to see my mom excited about Shark. She thinks they should get married. LOL and 2) watching the previously mentioned videos led mom and I to watch more videos and I came across this rehearsal video of the pros from season 9. I remember this one....Marky gets a little upset in this video. Angry!Marky. Me no likey. Me likey Happy!Marky. Yes. :D
But, aside from the brief second of Angry!Marky, this is a really cool video. I LOVE behind the scenes stuff for anything. I love to see how things work. How things are done. I love DVDs that give you hours of 'making of' footage. So fascinating. :) So, this one gave us a lot of footage of the pros rehearsing, which we don't get to see often on DWTS. They never show a rehearsal package before pro dances. *sadface*
The second annual Life's A Dance benefiting Covenant Hospice will take center stage at the Pensacola Saenger Theatre on Friday, June 4, 2010 from 7-9 pm. Dance legend Corky Ballas and WEAR TV-3 anchor Sue Straughn will emcee the event.
This exciting evening of show-stopping dance will feature local celebrity dancers and performances by cast members of TV's Dancing with the Stars:

Next week, we will get another double-dose of Marky goodness! :) On Monday night, Mark is again performing at The Mint, but this week's show promises to be an exciting one. He's playing with a full band and many of his DWTS buddies will be in attendance. If you're in the Los Angeles area, be sure to check it out! Get your tickets online here: http://www.themintla.com/show/detail/28086 Mark goes on at 8:30pm.
Mark posted a picture of the stage/instruments at one of the band practices for Monday's performance:
Also, on Tuesday on the DWTS result show, Mark has choreographed a team of young dancers from The Vibe in Utah. I've seen these kids dance before and they are pretty talented! Included in the team is Tanisha Belnap, who also danced in Mark's music video for the song "All For Nothing". :)
Mark posted a picture of him and Tanisha and another picture of the whole dance team:
